We are four friends. We are four graduate students. We are collaborators on research. Each one of us has traveled to Central America on various adventures. This summer, we are traveling to gather data for our respective projects.
We come from different academic disciplines, and our research methods vary. Our daily research methods may include:
- Drinking coffee with local people while discussing pertinent agricultural issues
- Hiking through forests with binoculars searching for animals
- Interviewing officials and local stakeholders
- Strapping cameras to trees to document wildlife presence
Each of these research methods ultimately leads us to help answer our unifying research questions regarding conservation and biodiversity.
We look forward to sharing our experiences with you this summer!
